In this section I will be showing before-and-after pictures
of projects I have worked on. In addition, I will post some photos of a cottage that I am renovating, just to give
you a sense of my decorating style!

This photo shows a "before" picture of one of the
bedrooms at the cottage, taken from the door looking into the room. Note the fluorescent pink walls and filthy pink
carpeting!

Now the room boasts a nice pale pink for the walls, and you
can see the vintage linoleum floor. Add a daybed and an art deco vanity found on Craig's List, and it truly is a
different room! The slanted ceiling seems cozy and charming, not claustrophobic. A few baskets and an antique
suitcase under the bed add storage and charm.

This photo of the powder room at my cottage shows the green
painted wood floor, the nice clean white walls, and storage pieces (for towels, toilet paper, and toiletries).
Not as easy to see is a rubber-stamp paint border of blades of grass all along the chair rail level.
I wish I had
a "before" photo! This room was dark and disgusting, with moldy old wallpaper, loose floor tiles, no plumbing
to speak of, and a plastic shower stall plunked right down in the middle of the room!

Another view of the sink area of the powder room, again demonstrating
the paint treatment. On the wall is a vintage enamelware soap dish and comb-and-brush holder. The little green
wooden box on the wall is a tiny cabinet I found at an antique store, and filled with miniature toiletries for an interesting
surprise!
