In
my "other" life, I work in private practice as a podiatrist, here in Manhattan. A recent challenge for
me was designing my new exam room, with very limited space, so that I would have ready access to all of my supplies and equipment
(including an x-ray machine and dark room!). At the same time, I wanted a room that would feel comfortable, clean and
welcoming to my patients.
I have since gone on to design a new space for another podiatrist in the city, which
involved completely renovating 2 exam rooms and the back office/file room space.
